What Can Thermal Imaging Do For You?

At SmartGuard Professional Inspections, we use Thermal Imaging to help homeowners with insulation concerns!

This young couple had lived in their newly built home for about 1 year, but had major concerns because the pantry in their kitchen was hot!  They were concerned about food spoilage and energy inefficiency.

At their warranty inspection, we were able to use our infrared camera to confirm that the back wall of the pantry (located on a perimeter wall of the house) was missing insulation.

As the photos show, the wall temperature was almost 90 degrees inside the pantry!

This couple used our warranty inspection report to prove that there was insulation missing in their pantry wall, which resulted in the builder’s warranty covering the cost of the repairs!
