Our Team

Andrew O’Banon is the owner and chief inspector at SmartGuard Professional Inspections, PLLC. Andrew has been around and involved in home improvement and construction for most of his life. From growing up helping with remodeling and additions, to building homes of his own and helping others build their homes, construction projects have been a part of his everyday life. He spent over 24 years working for McCoy’s Building Supply. In his roles at McCoy’s, he gained extensive knowledge of building materials, components, and processes.

Andrew completed extensive training in home and commercial inspection and is fully certified through the state of Texas (TREC Lic. # 24090-PI) as a licensed Professional Inspector. He routinely completes continuing education to excel in providing the best and most up-to-date residential inspections.

Andrew provides service with honesty and integrity in both his professional and private life.
